Square Enix Provides A Look At The Kingdom Heart III Opening Cinematic

By Keith MitchellDecember 9, 2018
Kingdom Hearts III

Despite being more than a month away from the release of Kingdom Hearts III, that isn’t stopping Square Enix from teasing us a bit more. Case in point is the recent debut of the opening cinematic that was released on Square Enix’s YouTube channel. Thankfully, this video seems to not contain any spoilers. So you can watch it as much as you want.

This is also the first time we’re hearing the English version of Hikaru Utada and Skrillex’s theme song collaboration, “Face My Fears”. It’s not the entire song and even still, I’m not really feeling the same vibe that I normally get from a Kingdom Hearts opening. Maybe it will grow on me once I hear the entire song.

Either way, it’s pretty nice to see this being released so early.

Kingdom Hearts III drops on Jan. 29, 2019 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
