The trailer mostly consists of sweeping shots of the set, but my what a beautiful set it is. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, series producer Gareth Neame remarked that “on the big screen, it just had to look a little bit more lavish and a little bit bigger and better.”

The Downton Abbey TV show ran for six seasons on television. Focusing on the elite Crawley family in turn of the century England, the show concluded in 2015.

Downton Abbey will grace cinemas with its presence on September 20, 2019.
