Get Samsung’s Newest Galaxy Note9 for 50% off at T-Mobile

By Clinton Bowman-ChristieAugust 9, 2018

Samsung unveiled the newest entry into the Samsung Galaxy phablet family – the Galaxy Note9 – and T-Mobile is giving you the opportunity to get the phone for 50% off.

You guessed it…there’s a catch. There’s always a catch. Why is there Nevermind, that’s not important. What is, however, is how you get this sweet deal.

If you trade in the following phones before August 23, T-Mobile will spread $500 over 24 bill credits, after paying the tax on the pre-credit price:

  • Samsung Galaxy S8
  • Samsung Galaxy S8+
  • Samsung Galaxy S8 active
  • Samsung Galaxy S7
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 active
  • Samsung Galaxy Note8
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Duos
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5

The following phones will have T-Mobile spread $250 over that same 2 year period:

  • Samsung Galaxy S6
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 active
  • Samsung Galaxy Note4
  • Samsung Galaxy S5
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Active
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport

Just a heads up, these phones must be in good condition before you trade them in. I’m thinking of taking full advantage of this with my Galaxy S7 – or buying one on the super cheap and flipping it. Thank you based Swappa!

The Galaxy Note9 releases on August 24 in Ocean Blue and Lavender Purple color schemes, starting at $999.99 for the 128GB model and $1,249.99 for the 512GB version. T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Plan prices – for well-qualified buyers – feature down payments of $279.99 down for the 128GB model and $579.99 down for the 512GB model. Both phones will be $30/month – discounted to $15/month for the 128GB model with bill credits.

In addition, those who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Note9 can choose between either a pair of AKG noise-canceling headphones (AKG is owned by Samsung – what a surprise there,) and the Fortnite Galaxy Skin and 15,000 V-bucks for free. You can also get both for $99. Pre-orders for the Galaxy Note9 begin at Midnight EST.
