New Item Coming To Fortnite That Makes Fort Building Easier

I heard you wanted some help building your fort

Ah, Fortnite. EPIC Games’ extremely popular Battle Royal game has been turning heads and dropping jaws. But not everyone is keen on making those lovely structures and forts at a moment’s notice. Ever been under fire and wishing there was some way out of the pending death?

EPIC Games has heard you and is providing a new toy that will assist you. Yes, there’s an item that will help you build a fort in just seconds.

Introducing, Port-a-Fort! A base building grenade. Yes, now you’ll be able to build a fort with a toss of a grenade.

Port-a-Fort will be available in the Fortnite v3.5 update, which drops tomorrow. It’s definitely going to be interesting to see how this item changes the meta of the game. And how many people that will ultimately love and those who will hate it to heck and back.

That said, I’m someone who’s played a heavy amount of PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds, but has slowly started playing Fortnite. I wasn’t feeling it at first, but the game is slowly growing on me. I’m not the best with the building aspect, but I’m learning. So this new item is definitely aimed at people like me.

Fortnite is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and, Mac.
