Nintendo’s Got Some More Nindies To Show Off Next Week

By Keith MitchellMarch 16, 2018

Looks like Nintendo isn’t doing with their video presentations for this month. In fact, they just sent word that there will be a new live stream that will focus on their Nindie titles. This stream will take place on March 20, 2018, and will start at 9 AM PST /12 PM EST.

As for what they’ll be showing, well your guess is as good as ours. We’ll just have to wait and see what Nintendo has in store. But if I could make a suggestion or perhaps a recommendation, these are a few games I’d like to see featured on the Nintendo Switch.

Hollow Knight: A amazing rogue-like/Metroidvania title that has been available on Steam for quite some time. Creepy, charming, and one of the best indie games that I’ve played in a long time. It’s quite surprising that this title hasn’t been ported to either the PS4 or Xbox One. But perhaps the Switch has appealed to the team behind the game.

Fight’N Rage: We reviewed this game last year and loved it. It’s a new look at an old-school genre; Beat em’ ups. Beautiful, full of fantastic combos and lots of action. Would be a perfect game to play in the comfort of your home or on the go. Did I mention it has local coop as well? Yeah, Nintendo, can we get this on the Switch? Please?

Dead Cells: Another fantastic indie take on the Metroidvania formula. Dead Cells combines some interesting combat mechanics, procedurally generated maps and simply does not disappoint. Lots of dungeons to explore, weapons to acquire and more action than you can shake a stick at.
