A Fullmetal Alchemist Art Book is Coming Your Way This Autumn

Fullmetal Alchemist

VIZ Media announced that they will be releasing an art book featuring Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist. The book will be a hardcover and is set to release in November of this year. VIZ states that the book will feature art from the manga series as well as art pieces never before seen by North American audiences. Pre-order details are pretty scarce at the moment; however, the book was noted that it will retail for $34.99.

The Fullmetal Alchemist series is licensed by VIZ Media for physical distribution and Yen Press for digital distribution. The franchise received two anime series: Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The first series stopped following the manga and told an original story due to running out of source material to adapt while Brotherhood followed the manga from beginning to end.

The series also spawned two animated movies: The Conqueror of Shamballa and The Sacred Star of Milos. In addition to animated movies, there was also a live-action movie adaptation that was met with mixed reviews. Hiromu Arakawa is currently serializing her latest work Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) which is licensed by Yen Press here in North America. She also provided the character designs and artwork for Arslan Senki.
