Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Upcoming Update Delayed Until March 2018

By Keith MitchellFebruary 16, 2018
Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The good news is that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is set to get yet another update.  This update was set to introduce a New Game Plus mode, for those who have beaten the game and are ready for more. However, there’s some bad news as well.

It seems that there was a bug hidden in this update. Without being specific about what the bug did, Nintendo has postponed the update until March 2, 2018.The new patch, 1.3.0, will include the New Game Plus mode, and the bug fix that was found. It’s nice to see that Nintendo caught the bug in time. Since they haven’t said what it did, I can only imagine it did all sorts of nasty things. Kudos to Nintendo as well for being transparent about the situation. It’s just two more weeks, we can wait. Right?

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is now available for the Nintendo Switch. If you haven’t checked it out, yet you enjoy amazing JRPGs, then you’re missing out. Speaking of which, why not check out our review of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 here.
