Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ Renewed For Another Season On Netflix

Good old Frank gets a second go

The bullets have barely dropped and Netflix has already ordered a second season of Marvel’s The Punisher. That’s right folks, Marvel’s favorite bad boy with good intentions has been given the green light for another go.

I’m happy to see that the reception for The Punisher has been positive. Given the nature of character’s theme and today’s climate, I wasn’t sure how it would go. But it seems that like like the reason of the Marvel and Netflix tag team, it went smoothly. Well, except the Defenders. That wasn’t the hit that everyone hoped it would be. But Frank Castle is doing just fine.

But anyway, The Punisher season two.

Sadly, I have to admit that I haven’t finished watching the show. I promised my master “aka the wifey” that I wouldn’t watch it all without her.  But there will Marvel and Netflix take Frank now? That’s a great question and one I don’t have an answer for.

Hopefully this whole Disney and Fox deal falls through. Then maybe we could get the “Merc with a mouth” to join our gun touting hero in season two. C’mon, Frank, and Wade have a lovely relationship, whether it’s against or alongside each other.

Whatever it is, let’s just hope it doesn’t involve Franken-Castle. That was perhaps the worse Punisher series of all time. No, don’t debate me. It was the worst! Oh, I know…. Netflix, make Daredevil evil and have the Punisher and crew go after him like in Shadowland!
