The West Is Finally Getting A Different Colored PS4 Pro

By Keith MitchellJuly 10, 2017

But it comes with a catch!

When it comes to getting multiple different colored versions of gaming consoles, Japan has the best beat. In fact, Japan is home to some very gorgeous looking gaming consoles, especially when it comes to the PlayStation variants. However, the West typically does end up with a morsel every so often and usually it comes with a catch. So, here comes the catch!

Sony has announced that they will be releasing a white PlayStation 4 Pro in the West. The only catch is that you’ll need to purchase a specific Destiny 2 bundle to get it. More than likely, that bundle is going to sell out – so be quick about it. Retailing for $450, included in the bundle is white 1TB PlayStation 4 Pro, matching controller and a copy of Destiny 2.

Tell me that White PS4 Pro doesn’t look sexy?

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any Destiny 2 art on the console – a golden Destiny 2 design would have been a nice touch.

Update: Looks like the bundle is already up for pre-order on Amazon and Gamestop.

Normally I’m not a fan of bundles, however, this one is attractive. Not only are you getting the white PS4 Pro, and a copy of Destiny 2, but also the Destiny 2 expansion pass. And at $450, it’s actually a decent deal. Considering that a new PS4 Pro will set you back $399.99, plus a copy of Destiny 2 LE is $99.99 – you’re saving $50 dollars and you’ll have the pleasure of owning a white PS4 Pro to boot.

If you were on the fence about picking up a PS4 Pro and wanted to get into Destiny 2, then this deal is for you. However, for those of us that already have  PS4 Pro, is picking up the white variant worth it?
