Just How Durable Is the Nintendo Switch?

By Keith MitchellMarch 6, 2017
How durable is the Nintendo Switch?

Now that Nintendo Switch is out in the wild, things haven’t been exactly smooth. There have been numerous complaints regarding issues with the Joy-Con’s, defective pixels on the screen, scratches, crashes and more.

You may want to cover your eyes on this one, folks!

I can only imagine what that Nintendo Switch is feeling right now.

Now while most of those issues are hardware or software related, I’m sure others have been curious on just how durable is the Nintendo Switch. One Youtube user, JerryRigEverything, who is used to stressing objects to their breaking point, has found out. So go thank him, so you don’t have put yours on the line. Burn marks, a knife to the screen and even bending the heck of the poor unit. Everything is fair play and Switch goes through the most horrific of things imaginable.

Mind you, his video may upset or scare many new Nintendo Switch owners, so beware. Why did he do it, you may be asking? Well, to save you the horror of having something happen to your Switch.

Caution, this video is not for the squeamish!

You can find more of his torture tests over at his Youtube channel, here.
