New Friday the 13th: The Game Gets New Gameplay Trailer and Adds New Music

By Keith MitchellJanuary 14, 2017

The team behind the upcoming the Friday the 13th: The Game, Gun Media, has shown off a new trailer. We can also see that a change to Jason Voorhees ‘s character. This new look has been changed to that of  Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives. Jason is now sporting a spear-like weapon, along with some throwing knives. Jason will definitely be able to make sure of these new additions to catch fleeing victims in his wake.

In addition, Gun Media has announced that the game has received a new sony, created by The Misfits. Quite fitting, especially since the band had released an EP, called Friday the 13th, back during June 2016. The Misfits are known for their horror punk styled music.

“The inclusion of this track is a dream come true for fans of the genre” said Ronnie Hobbs, Co-Creator of Friday the 13th: The Game.” “Like many kids, The Misfits were a huge part of our childhood, so it’s an honor to be working alongside those guys”.

Friday the 13th: The Game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC during Spring 2017. For more information on Friday the 13th: The Game, check out www.13game.com.
