NieR: Automata

Update: Square Enix has confirmed/announced that Nier: Automata will be released for both PS4 and PC on March 7, 2017, in North America.
Update 2: Well, looks like the simultaneous release for PS4 and PC was incorrect. The PC version still has an unknown release date, while the PS4 will be the only one released on March 7,2017. We apologize for the confusion and have reached out to our Square Enix rep for clarification.

It’s been a busy week for the upcoming Action-RPG title, Nier: Automata.  Over the past weekend, it received a new gameplay trailer which was revealed during the PlayStation Experience 2016 event.  While today a new trailer was released that featured some video while we received some narrative for the game.

In addition to the two trailers, we also got word that Square Enix will be releasing two editions of Nier: Automata. The first is the Nier: Automata Black Box Edition, which is currently available for pre-order over at Store.na.square-enix.com.

Nier: Automata Black Box Edition is priced $189.99 and will include the following:

  • A sleek black Collector’s Edition box housing the below exclusive contents
  • The NieR: Automata game
  • Exquisitely crafted YoRHa “2B” Figurine
  • Hardback 64-page artbook detailing the stunning artwork and illustrations from the game
  • Exclusive steelbook case featuring artwork from renowned Akihiko Yoshida (FINAL FANTASY® XIV / BRAVELY DEFAULT®)
  • Hauntingly Beautiful Soundtrack containing 13 live recorded songs from NIER® and NieR: Automata, composed by veteran Keiichi Okabe from MONACA, Inc. (TEKKEN / Drakengard / NIER)
  • All Day One Edition digital content, including: Machine Mask Accessory, Grimoire Weiss Pod, Play System Pod Skin, Retro Grey Pod Skin, Retro Red Pod Skin, and Cardboard Pod Skin
