There are only a few more days till the release of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 in Japan. During the wait, Koei Tecmo released character videos each week that highlight the nine females characters you can have fun with. In this final stretch of waiting, let’s review back over the ladies shall we? Again…

Marie Rose
Servant to Helena Douglas, Marie Rose is the number one winner in the popularity polls. To think that she would be voted into this game by a considerable margin. Maybe it’s because she’s a breath of fresh air in the staple of Dead or Alive. Heck, Lolis needs representation too. She brings into the table innocence and cuteness in this trailer. Really like her hair down style as it brings out her charms. Voiced by Mai Aizawa.
Honoka
Coming in runner-up in the poll is the new comer Honoka. Do I really need to say anything about her? Being the most endowed of the cast, she shows it off here and the soft engine makes you know it. With the costumes, you know why she is popular. To think she made her own martial art style called the Honoka Fu. Plus, Umi dah! Voiced by Ai Nonaka.
Kasumi
Next on the poll result is the kunoichi of Mugen Tenshin and Dead or Alive’s poster girl Kasumi. She was already beautiful in Dead or Alive 5, but wow does she shine here. Maybe it’s the soft spoken voice or well-roundness of her style but I can see why Itagaki wanted her to be viewed as a Venus-like figure. Voiced by Houko Kuwashima.
Ayane
With Kasumi, you have to have the next kunoichi of Mugen Tenshin: Ayane. Still straight laced, tsundere, and duty bound as ever, but seems she taking a bit easy while on Zack Island. They really emphasized the pig-tails here. Plus she really loves purple. Voiced by Wakana Yamazaki.
Kokoro
Next is the Ba Ji Quan martial artist and half-sister of Helena Douglas, Kokoro. For many fans, it goes straight to their hearts. She never forgets to train, even when on vacation. You will notice the grace and hardworking nature of her in this showcase. Voiced by Ayako Kawasumi.
Nyotengu
Nyotengu, or literally female tengu, ranks at number 6 and is another newcomer. That age counter though. She doesn’t look over a day over 500! True that tengus can live for many years, but to why she kept this form, I have no objections. She’s hot, sexy, and she knows it. The trailer also gives some insight in why she doesn’t have her wings this time around. Really love the dialect style of her speech and the choice of music for the trailer. I just want to tell you~~~ Voiced by Akemi Sato.
Hitomi
At number 7 we have the free spirit, karate girl, Hitomi. Nice to see her fixation with Hayate still remains in the beginning of the trailer. Besides from asking how that hibiscus is staying on her, she keeps on being that bubbly and have fun girl that we all know. Kind of sad that her rival and friend Lei-Fang won’t be with her to enjoy the vacation. Voiced by the always lovely Yui Horie.
Momiji
Ryu Hayabusa’s student and the last shrine maiden of Hayabusa Ninja Clan, Momiji, takes number 8. She has the aura of a mother/elder sister figure here, especially when she let’s her hair down. Speaking of hair, you can notice the technical limits of the soft engine with hers. A great example of a Yamato Nadeshiko. Voiced by Yuko Minaguchi.
Helena Douglas
Last and rounding out the cast is the heiress of DOATEC, Helena Douglas. She managed to beat Lei Fang at the last stretch of the polls to secure a spot. Kinda unfortunate that she is the only blonde in the cast, as I wish Tina was also in to help even the representation. Needless to say the outfits showcasing her is quite daring. Such is a princess. Voiced by Yuka Koyama.
