BOKU DAKE GA INAI MACHI Gets Spinoff Manga

By Josh PiedraMarch 5, 2016

Kadokawa Shouten’s Young Ace magazine announced that Boku Dake ga Inai Machi, also known as ERASED, will receive a spinoff manga in the magazine’s July issue.  The spinoff will be titled Boku Dake ga Inai Machi Gaiden and that’s about all the information that was given about the title.   The announcement was attached to the main story’s final chapter which was published on Friday as well.

The ERASED manga spawned 44 chapters across 8 volumes as well as a television anime that is currently airing in Japan.  The anime is currently ranked at the #5 slot on MyAnimeList’s top anime of all time joining the likes of Gintama, Steins;Gate, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The anime is slated to end on March 25, 2016 and will include the manga’s original ending.  The anime has also been licensed by Aniplex of America for distribution, but there is no word on when an English adaptation is slated for release. The series is also producing a live action movie adaptation of the manga which is slated for release on March 19, 2016 in Japan.
