Tokyo Game Show 2015 closed door footage of Nioh finally shown off

Nioh, or what has been quickly dubbed as Samurai Souls, was shown behind closed doors during the 2015 Tokyo Game Show. And while footage of the title was released via a trailer and what was captured via other various means, we really didn’t get a good quality video of the game in action. That is until now as Koei Temco has released the very footage that was closed off to everyone but a select few.

And even though the game was quickly associated to The Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls games, due to the gameplay, I wonder if the studio behind the game, Team Ninja, can produce results similar to what Fromsoftware has done with their Soul series.

We’ll just have to wait and even then, we’re all getting ahead of ourselves as we don’t even know what to expect from this title. So all we can do for now is wait. Wait and drool that is.

There currently is no release date for Nioh on the PlayStation 4
