Ubisoft’s The Division open beta details and new trailer ‘Enemy Factions’

By Keith MitchellFebruary 9, 2016

Well well well, look at that. Right after the Tom Clancy’s The Division closed beta, we’re getting a new beta, an open beta for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Starting on February 18, Xbox One owners will get access to the open beta one day early, then both PS4 and PC players will get access to the open beta on February 19 2016 and the beta will run until February 21, 2016.

Thankfully it seems that Ubisoft has indeed listened to us and has implement multiple fixes and exploits that were found in the closed beta, so hopefully this time around we’ll get a better idea on how the finished version will play. There will also be a new story mission for gamers to check out, which was my main issue with the closed beta. The hospital was fun, but you can only play it so many times before it gets boring.

They also released a new trailer that gives us a look at several other factions that you’ll face in game. You already met the Cleaners, those psycho’s with the flamethrowers if you played the closed beta. But now we’re getting a look at the others; The Rikers, prisoners who escaped from Riker Prison and the Last Man Battalion,  think of them as a private military company or PMC.

It’s up to you, me, all of us, as The Division to put these factions down and get New York back under control!

So the open beta from February 18-21, 2016 and then get ready for the full releases on March 8, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and PC! For more info, check out The Division website at http://tomclancy-thedivision.ubi.com.
