It’s been a while since we’ve had a 3 on 3 style basketball game, a really long time. Run and Gun, Nba Jam and NBA Street, were some of my favorites growing up and I spent tons of quarters and time on all of them. However it looks like there may be hope for me as Joycity has a new 3 on 3 game in development for the PlayStation 4, 3on3 Freestyle, as it’s called.
First shown off at the 2015 PlayStation Experience, we saw some footage of the game in action and it looked decent. However this time around, Joycity has relased a short teaser trailer for the upcoming BBall game. And a teaser is pretty much what it is, as it really doesn’t give us much to speculate on.
And while I’m excited, I have to reserve judgement until we get some info on the game, especially since Joycity isn’t known for it’s games and I’m pretty sure they were strictly a mobile games shop for quite sometime and this is their first venture onto a gaming console. That and I’m sure I’d want to play a sports game of this nature from anyone but EA. Guess time will tell.
