Star Fox Zero “Introducing Star Fox” trailer for Wii U and Gameplay footage

By Keith MitchellNovember 13, 2015

Nintendo’s Direct from 11/12 had a ton of updates and surprises for Nintendo fans, including a new update on Star Fox Zero. Ever since it was revealed earlier this year during E3 2015, fans of the past Star Fox titles were split on how the game looked, despite the title being in early development. However after laying eyes on it as of Yesterday, I’m sure that everyone will agree that the title seems to be shaping up quite nicely.

In the “Introducing Star Fox” trailer, we’re reacquainted with some old friends and some new tech, including the Arwing transforming into what looks to be a guardian mode (for you Macross/Robotech fans) and is dubbed “Walker Mode”. That alone was enough to get me psyched.

And yes folks, we have a new release date as the title was previously delayed, April 22, 2016. Doesn’t seem so far away, does it?

Also, be sure to check out the game-play segment below, which shows off various game-play elements, as well as the vehicles and armaments you’ll be able to use in-game. It’s a great time to be a Star Fox fan!
