Resident Evil Origins Collection Announced, Resident Evil Zero Gets Release Date

Capcom is on a roll with their Resident Evil remakes, that’s for sure. This time around they’ve announced the Resident Evil Origins Collection, which includes HD remakes of Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil HD Remake for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One for for $39.99. They’ve also announced the release date for the remake of Resident Evil Zero, which is January 19, 2016 and will release for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC for $19.99, along side the release of the Resident Evil Origins Collection.


In addition, included in Resident Evil Zero has a new mode called “Wesker Mode.” Players will now be able to experience the events that lead up to the iconic mansion outbreak playing as alternative character Albert Wesker, alongside S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers. Both characters will star in a special themed outfit for the mode with Wesker replacing the traditional gameplay role of Billy Coen.


Get ready, Resident Evil fans for January 19, 2016. Shame it’s not a Halloween 2015 release, that would be perfect.
