ZombiU coming to PS4, XB1, and PC as Zombi

In a surprising move, Ubisoft announced that their 2012 WiiU launch title, ZombiU would be upgraded and available for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Zombi will contain most of the game features that were available on ZombiU, like the permadeath system. Players dying will result in them becoming a zombie, after which they will spawn as a new survivor (It is possible to retrieve your old inventory if you can track down your previous character and take him/her out). 

Features unique to the WiiU like the ability to sort through your bag with the touch screen GamePad won’t be available due to obvious reasons, but Zombi will contain upgraded graphics and the core essence of what made it an entertaining game remains intact. 

Zombi will be released as a digital title on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 18th.
