Shovel Knight fans, rejoice!
After an earlier leak from British chain GAME, Nintendo has officially announced (with the help of Arin ‘Egoraptor’ Hansen and the GameGrumps crew,) that Shovel Knight is getting its own amiibo!
Coinciding with the announcement from Yacht Club Games that free DLC for Shovel Knight, named Plague of Shadows, which allows players to play as Plague Knight, will be coming in September, the Shovel Knight amiibo will not only unlock exclusive challenges for the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game, but will also unlock co-op play, exclusively for the Nintendo Wii U.
