E3 2015: Cross-buy confirmed for Killer Instinct for X1 and PC

By Keith MitchellJune 18, 2015

During the E3 2015 PC Gamer Show, Phil Spencer of Microsoft announced that Killer Instinct would make an appearance on the PC, much to the delight of the PC gaming community. However, recently, another bomb was dropped regarding Killer Instinct, the title will support Cross-buy. Meaning if you purchase the Xbox One verison, then you’ll be able to get the PC edition for free and vice versa.

So anything you purchased on the Xbox One version will be waiting for you when you fire Killer Instinct for the PC, how great is that? On top of that, all Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers and joysticks (fight sticks) will be compatible with the PC version. Now if the fighting community would only use PC for tournaments now…..

Cross-play, CROSS-BUY, and all X1 and 360 sticks will work on the PC version of #KillerInstinct More info soon!
