The Outerhaven Plays the Through The Woods demo

By Keith MitchellMay 28, 2015

Being penned as a third-person psychological horror, Through The Woods is a re-telling of a mother’s struggle to find her son who has disappeared in a forest that is seemingly alive.

We got a chance to play the teaser of this game, which is still very much a work in progress and I got to say that I’m very impressed with what I’ve played so far, despite the teaser being, well a teaser.

Being developed by a Norwegian indie studio, Antagonist, Through The Woods, is influenced by Norse mythology and Norwegian folk tales. The team accredits games such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, as well as Alan Wake, Gone Home, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and The Last of Us for the inspiration being Through The Woods. They also have a Kickstarter campaign setup to help fund the title with a goal of $40,000.00. For more info on the Kickstarter, be sure to check out third-person psychological horror.
