Looks like Ubisoft is no longer making last generation games

Looks like there’s one less company making last generation games it seems. Information was released earlier today during their investors call today that Ubisoft will only focus on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U (where applicable) and the PC. They will no longer develop titles for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.

I’m not surprised about this at the least and I for one am glad that they’re finally doing this. Not to spite the last generation of consoles however, but to focus on the current platforms and to hopefully benefit us with better optimizations in upcoming titles.

So if you’re looking to play any new Ubisoft titles, you’re going to have to get it on a current generation system or PC. What do you think about the changes? Do you think this is for the best or not?
