Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Announced!

While many leaks and rumors surrounded the upcoming game, today we got the official announcement for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.

The next installment of the long-running game series will be set in Victorian England and have two playable characters, brother Jacob Frye and sister Evie Frye. You will be able to freely switch between the two in free-roam but not during story missions. The new game will not have a multi-player  mode and be completely single player; however, it will feature the largest map in the Assassin’s Creed series.

The story will have the main characters cause an uprising against a disguised Templar establishment during the height of the Industrial Revolution. Victorian-era historical figures, such as Charles Dickens and Charles Darwin, will be making appearances in the game and some new assassins will also be make their debut.

Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate releases worldwide, on PS4 and Xbox One, on October 23.
