The GTA Online Heist Are Here! (So Are The Server Issues)

By Aaron SandersMarch 10, 2015

Today is the day that the GTA Online heist arrived in their big update, adding the heist mode, new PvP modes, daily objectives, and new free roam activities. Along with this joyous news, not surprisingly, the GTA Online servers are experiencing issues.

While multiple players are reporting problems logging-on, matchmaking, and staying connected, rockstar has released an official statement.

“We are aware of some issues today with players having problems connecting to GTA Online, as well as issues with the Xbox Live service. We are working to restore full access to GTA Online as quickly as possible. In the meantime, players can monitor the performance of all platforms on our GTA Online status page, located here.”

The Xbox Live issues referred too, are a separate issue affecting Xbox 360 users. Multiple Xbox 360 users are reporting similar issues trying to connect to Xbox Live itself. For more information on that developing story, look here.

Have fun performing heist online with your friends, hopefully all the problems will be fixed quickly.
