Funimation Puts Dragon Ball GT Track To Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros Ultimate Dragon Ball GT

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is less than a month away, and everyone is celebrating in their own ways. Some are counting down the days until the game arrives. Others are talking about what they’re going to do when they get the game, or who they’re going to play as. And some…well…they’re stirring the pot…in both fun and epic ways…one of which is Dragon Ball GT related.

You see, Nintendo released the “final” trailer to Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and it shows the characters in a war against each other. Well, fans are taking the video and putting different soundtracks behind it, and it’s actually rather awesome. But now…Funimation has gotten in on the act, and put the video to the theme song of Dragon Ball GT.

Naturally, this is getting fans all kinds of excited, not the least of which is because many hope that Goku will be in Super Smash Bros Ultimate via the DLC Fighter Pack. To be clear, this does NOT confirm anything…but it’s cool none the less. It’s also interesting that they would use the theme song to the most hated of the Dragon Ball shows. But, it’s likely that it was the one that worked the best with the video.

Do you want Goku in Smash Bros? Let me know in the comments below.
