Begin the countdown! Attack On Titan Season 02 officially has a premiere date. This comes straight from Funimation, who posted about the return of the mega-popular anime on their site.
Attack On Titan Season 02 will debut on April 1st, and it will be simulcast as well. So everyone can experience it at the same time. To further the hype, they released new art for the second season which you can check below:
And here’s the official synopsis for the season:
“Eren Jaeger swore to wipe out every last Titan, but in a battle for his life he wound up becoming the thing he hates most. With his new powers, he fights for humanity’s freedom facing the monsters that threaten his home. After a bittersweet victory against the Female Titan, Eren finds no time to rest—a horde of Titans is approaching Wall Rose and the battle for humanity continues!”
