Get ready, fellow Space Marines! It has been announced that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has gone gold, ahead of its September 9, 2024, release date.

This is especially exciting, considering that many years ago developer THQ announced it was working on this very game, only to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2012, leaving the future of the game uncertain. But that’s old news now, and we’re looking forward to the future. A very bright future.

When Space Marine 2 is released, it will feature a full campaign that supports up to three players, the Operations mode that lets players tackle customized missions, and a 6 vs 6 PVP mode. Oh, and perhaps the biggest news that many may have missed – Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will also support dedicated servers. That’s right! No more peer-to-peer nonsense, which is a major relief. With dedicated servers, all the online modes should be much better, at least that’s the hope.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 releases on September 9, 2024, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Get ready! I know I am!
