The Master of the Supreme Fist is bringing a bunch of goods to Street Fighter VI with him. Akuma customizations for avatars seem to be present. Akuma’s kanji during the Shun Goku Satsu super art, his signature gi costume, and the wings from his Cyber Akuma look in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and Cyberbots are up for grabs for World Tour avatars. The timeless classic Street Fighter Alpha 2 will be playable in the Battle Hub.
Giant Attack mode will also be introduced. As to what it is, there are speculations surrounding it. Giant Attack was a subtitle for Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact. The game introduced Akuma, Urien, and Final Fight‘s massive wrestler, Hugo, to the game. It showed a gigantic version of Akuma. He’ll be sitting in the center of the Battle Hub. Ultra Street Fighter II remixes are also going to be a part of the premium awards.
Akuma will be available as DLC this Spring for the Street Fighter 6 Season Pass, Deluxe, and Ultimate editions. Along with Akuma, a major character balancing update that will affect all existing characters in Street Fighter 6.
