Nintendo Drops Translation of Investor Q&A With Shuntaro Furukawa

By Todd BlackMay 10, 2024
Shuntaro Furukawa, Nintendo

It’s been a busy week in the gaming space, which is why much of our newest episode of the Nintendo Entertainment Podcast was detailing all that went on this week. However, the news never stops, and things keep getting more interesting. Something that Nintendo did that surprised us was give a full translation of the Q&A investor meeting that President Shuntaro Furukawa did. In it, he answered many questions, without giving too much away, about the future of the Switch, the company, the company’s next console, and so on.

Granted, he didn’t give up the farm, but there are some unique insights about how they’re handling the software lineup for 2024, how they’re attempting to get one last good year out of the Switch via hardware and software sales, using the Super Mario Bros Movie to help expand the awareness of their IPs, and so on.

So, if you have time to read the words of Shuntaro Furukawa, I highly recommend it.
