The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World is adapted from the now six-volume-long light novel series written by Yoneori and illustrated by Akane Nitou that originally launched in June 2019 and since been published by Kadokawa Shoten beginning in April 2020. The episodic series is directed by Atsushi Nigorikawa together with series composition by Takashi Aoshima, character design by Akane Nitou and Izumi Ishii and production by EMT Squared in association with Ankichi Kobo.
