The release of Rebel Wolves’ ambitious action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker, is getting ever closer. As such, Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have released a new trailer that provides more information about the story, characters, combat, and the things that go bump in the night.
Check out the trailer below.
The trailer introduces the Vrakhiri, the vampires ruling over Vale Sangora, before shifting the focus to Coen and his race against time to save his family. Players have just 30 days and 30 nights, though time doesn’t pass simply by exploring. Instead, starting or advancing certain quests consumes segments of time, meaning you won’t be able to do everything in a single playthrough.
Combat also gets some attention, showing off Coen’s use of blades and vampiric claws, with different options available depending on how players want to approach combat. Here, people can see just why I was raving so much about what’s in store for everyone when the game finally gets released.
The Outerhaven went hands-on with The Blood of Dawnwalker shortly after Summer Game Fest 2026, and while I only had about four hours with the game, I loved what I played. The combat was fun, the storytelling was interesting, and even the small portion of the map I explored encouraged me to wander off the beaten path. Doing so even led me to stumble across a few world bosses.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launches September 3, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
