Next week AMC Global Media’s HIDIVE heads to Gotham for Anime NYC 2026 to showcase the best in new anime from Japan available exclusively to its subscribers. The fast growing streamer will present its Fall 2026 Season to attendees at this year’s event, the largest anime convention on the East Coast, which runs from August 20 – 23 at the Javits Center in Hudson Yards on New York City’s West Side. HIDIVE’s Anime NYC exhibition features a special Japanese guest panel alongside an exciting slate of both world and North American premiere screenings, including, its complete line-up of Fall 2026 simulcasts series set to premiere in October.
HIDIVE’s Anime NYC 2026 showcase commences with a bang on Friday, August 21 with two back-to-back world premieres, the world dub premiere of this summer’s critically-acclaimed period drama The World Is Dancing and the world premiere of next season’s new original slice-of-life anime Tetsuryo! meet with Tetsudou Musume based on Japan’s beloved Railway Girls franchise, followed later that afternoon by the North American premiere of this fall’s new fantasy action series Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden. Then, on Saturday, August 22, the spotlight turns to the acclaimed isekai series Reincarnated as a Sword and its highly-anticipated return this fall for Season 2 with its North American premiere and Q&A panel featuring a trio of special Japanese guests, Director Shinji Ishihira and Producers Yosuke Shimada and Genta Ozaki.
