Square Enix Finally Bringing New Physical Versions Of Final Fantasy Games To Americas

By Scott AdamsOctober 9, 2025

Suppose you are someone who looks at international imports of video games. In that case, you may have noticed Square Enix providing physical versions of twin pack games of their ports of mainline Final Fantasy games on Nintendo Switch. These packs have never reached the western side of the world in the Americas. You could buy imported versions that would ship with EU age ratings. That changes this Christmas holiday. Square Enix has announced the following physical versions of certain Final Fantasy games:

  • FINAL FANTASY VII (Original) + FINAL FANTASY VIII Remastered Twin Pack
    • Platform: Nintendo Switch
    • Release Date: Dec. 9, 2025
    • ESRB: T (Teen)
    • Price: $39.99
    • Pre-order: https://na.store.square-enix-games.com/final-fantasy-vii-_-final-fantasy-viii-remastered-twin-pack
  • FINAL FANTASY IX
    • Platform: Nintendo Switch
    • Release Date: Dec. 9, 2025
    • ESRB: T (Teen)
    • Price: $39.99
    • Pre-order: https://na.store.square-enix-games.com/final-fantasy-ix
  • FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE & REBIRTH Twin Pack Physical Edition
    • Platform: PS5
    • Release Date: Dec. 4, 2025
    • ESRB: T (Teen)
    • Price: $59.99
    • Pre-order: https://na.store.square-enix-games.com/final-fantasy-vii-remake-intergrade-_-rebirth—twin-pack-physical-edition

I am personally super stoked that they are bringing the Final Fantasy IX physical version to this region of the world. It is still one of my personal favorite games in the series. Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth in one package is also a really great deal, especially with it being priced at $59.99. We have reviews on the site for both Final Fantasy VII Remake Integrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Make sure to read up on them before you pre-order.
