At today’s Nintendo Direct, Square Enix showing Dragon Quest I + II HD-2D Remake wasn’t enough, they had to shadow drop SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered as well. That is right SaGa Frontier 2 not only got a Remaster announced but at the end of the trailer, it was said to be available right now.
SaGa Frontier 2 is a JRPG about perspective. You will see a lot of historical events play out in this game and they will be from different sides and different people and even different generations. It all starts when one of the heirs in the Gustave family figures out he doesn’t have any special power in the family. He goes off and works on mastering his blacksmith skills and his swordsmanship skills to best help defend his home and family since he has no innate talent like the rest of his family.
Retains the turn based combat of SaGa and the unique level up system. This is going to be a SaGa game to try out if you haven’t already tried one like the recently released Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven game.
SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered is available now for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, iOS and Android.
