Masahiro Sakurai has clearly been having the time of his life regarding his YouTube Channel, and that was shown in a new way recently when he brought in the Retro Game Master, aka Shinya Arino, to play arcade titles with him. Throughout the three-part event, Sakurai and Arino dove through over a decade of arcade titles to showcase how gaming slowly evolved over the years. The final part finished up their “competition” in exciting ways, including going all the way up to the first Street Fighter title to finish things off.
Just like with the other two parts, the games brought out the best in both men, while also giving viewers unique insights into why each of these games were special or ahead of their time. Masahiro Sakurai noted at the end that he wants to do such collaborations again, and the Retro Game Master said he’d be up for it! Watch Part 3 below!
