LEGO Pokemon Sets Are Coming Next Year!

Gotta Catch (and Buy) 'em All!

LEGO Pokemon

Ah, LEGO. Is there nothing you can’t build if we have enough bricks? We know for a fact that the answer is “no,” and that’s what makes each collaboration they do so intriguing. It’s really a case of “What IP will they dip their bricks into next?” The answer has been revealed today, as the official Pokemon Twitter handle revealed that LEGO Pokemon sets are coming in 2026! LEGO even set up a site for it. As you’ll see on the site itself, there’s not much to go on, but that doesn’t mean it’s not cool!

We know that LEGO and Nintendo have collaborated in the past, including for the recent Mario Day event, when a LEGO Mario Kart set was revealed. So LEGO teaming up with The Pokemon Company feels more like a “long overdue” kind of thing. For now, all we can fairly guess is that Pikachu will have its own model coming out next year. other likey Poke-candidates to get LEGO-fied include Charizard, Mewtwo, Lucario, Jigglypuff, some of the legendaries, and a few other fan-favorites.

The real question here is whether The Pokemon Company will let LEGO make a LEGO-style video game of its property. Oh, the possibilities…
