Amazon Games showed off Kiyoshi gameplay for Avatar Legends The Fighting Game in trailer form. Outside of Korra and Aang, she’s one of the other Avatars from the past.
Kiyoshi is one of the tallest characters thus far. For instance, it would take at least an Azula and a half to cover Kiyoshi. She gains a rock wall attack in which she can punch through to grab the opponent to do a launch. Some of her attacks are mid to long range. Kiyoshi can run in the air to elevate pretty high or back down after a point. Kiyoshi even has deflection attacks and a few armor based moves.
There is a point where Kiyoshi can activate a high gust of wind after an attack. Rangi grants her pup follow-ups for special moves. Kelsang gives her that Double Jump ability. Yun gives her Better Pillar Stomps with rock and fire-based attacks. The chasm, from Kiyoshi’s ultimate, still stays on the field. Similar to Aang, the wind gust pulls opponents in for extended combo potential when it activates.
Around the community, other creators have covered her moves in total. Rooflemonger and Maximilan threw in their coverage on Kiyoshi. One of the crazy things is her ability to self-heal on idle spots. Some of the Menu UI has been shown, too. After Kiyoshi, this leaves Zaheer, Ozai, and Avatar State Aang and Avatar State Korra left in terms of gameplay. Probably the most powerful for last in the coming weeks.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will come in beta form on July 5th. Based on what’s been shown in the tweet, the playable roster appears to include Korra, Aang, Sokka, Zuko, Toph, and Azula. The full game will be available on July 23, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 1 and 2, and Steam.
