Insomniac Games Makes Official Statement On Recent Hack

As we’re learning more and more every day in 2023, the gaming world is not a great place to be in all the time. Despite what a certain “awards show” would tell you, not everything is sunshine and rainbow in the gaming space. An excellent example of a recent problem is what happened to Insomniac Games. The beloved PlayStation developer got hacked, and the people behind it released not only gaming information but personal information about some of the staff. It caused a bunch of problems for the company, and we didn’t report on what was leaked out of respect for them.

Today, Insomniac Games released an official statement on the event and what will happen with them going forward. They were grateful to those who offered support during this time and promised to keep developing the projects they had planned. That being said, they cautioned fans that what you saw in the leaks might not be what you get in the “final product” because games evolve during the development cycle.
