Robo-Ky is now available in Guilty Gear Strive, joining the current Season roster alongside Jam Kuradoberi. After being shown during Evo Vegas 2026, the junk-trap Ky Kiske lookalike has returned to shake up the Daredevils once again.
Introduced in Guilty Gear X Plus, Robo-Ky has always had a moveset and style of his own, and that is still very much the case in Guilty Gear Strive. His body repairs are being paid for by his bakery job with Venom, and his floating head was even seen in Venom’s gameplay trailer not too long ago.
Robo-Ky also has a second gauge on top of his Tension Gauge, giving him access to even more tools. The Electric Gauge adds more power to his kit and can increase the damage of his normals, making him more dangerous the more electricity he has built up.
With three levels to gain, Robo-Ky has several ways to charge the Electric Gauge during a match. His Character Guide was also released earlier this week, giving players a better look at how his new version works.
One of the stranger tools shown is Gimmic-ky, a special attack where Robo-Ky places down a mat that continues charging even while he is attacking. Once he has enough Electric Gauge, Robo-Ky can even take flight, giving him some unexpected movement options.
Ris-Ky Lovers also acts as an install that uses the Electric Gauge as a timer before Robo-Ky self-destructs. So yes, he is still weird, still dangerous, and still very much Robo-Ky.
As expected, a new balance patch has also been released alongside Robo-Ky, along with new Battle Pass updates. Faust gets most of the adjustments in this update, especially when it comes to wall break scenarios from several of his special moves.
Guilty Gear Strive is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
