That is a pretty strong deal, especially for a fighting game that is still fairly recent. The Legend Edition includes the base game, Season Pass 1, and Season Pass 2, giving players access to the current and upcoming DLC roster. That includes Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Ken, Chun-Li, Mr. Big, Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, Kenshiro, and one remaining mystery fighter.
SNK notes that exact sale end times may vary by storefront, so you will want to check your platform of choice before jumping in. The sale is available through the game’s official storefront listings for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
There is also a separate Standard Edition for players who only want the base game. That version is priced at $19.99 USD and does not include either season pass. Season Pass 1 is also available separately for $14.99 USD, and includes Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Ken, Chun-Li, and Mr. Big.
During the Anniversary Stream, SNK positioned the Standard Edition as a good entry point for players who may be interested in City of the Wolves but are still on the fence. Even without the DLC characters, there is still enough content, modes, and roster depth here for newcomers to get a feel for the game before committing to the full package.
That lines up with how we felt about the game in our review of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. While the game had a few rough edges at launch, we came away impressed by SNK’s return to the series, especially the REV system, the presentation, and how much energy it brought back to Fatal Fury after such a long wait.
“City of the Wolves does a lot to start itself on the right foot. While there are home runs, or slam dunks because Terry, some missed shots are present and need to be addressed in future patches. Thanks to the REV system, the action has definitely intensified, making the two-decade wait worth the comeback fans have longed for.”
With that in mind, this anniversary sale makes the game much easier to recommend, especially for anyone who was interested but did not want to pay full price. For a recent fighting game, getting the base game and two seasons of DLC content for $29.99 is not something you see often.
No sales milestones have been announced for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves at this time. Still, with Season 2 underway and Evo Japan 2026 taking place from May 1 through May 3, this anniversary sale comes at an interesting time for SNK’s fighter.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
