emaqi, the digital cross-publisher manga app, today announced four exclusive series launching in July, marking their first official English digital releases: Pierrot-Man, The Isekai Reincarnation Sketchbook of Hundred Burger-chan, Barefaced: The Man Who Left Public Security, and Beyond the Heavens.
Among these launches, The Isekai Reincarnation Sketchbook of Hundred Burger-chan and Barefaced: The Man Who Left Public Security will be available on emaqi Premium, the monthly subscription service launched earlier this month in the U.S. and Canada. Subscribers can read these series, along with over 400 other manga series spanning more than 2,000 volumes, as part of their subscription, priced at $6.99 USD / $9.99 CAD per month. These two launches exemplify emaqi’s commitment to expanding its Premium catalog so readers always have a new favorite series to discover.
In addition to these new series, emaqi is further expanding its emaqi Premium catalog this month by adding 88 new volumes of existing emaqi-exclusive series to the subscription service. This expansion includes the latest volumes of fan-favorite series such as Isekai Executioner: The Serial Killer in Another World and Anjo the Mischievous Gal.
emaqi’s four new exclusive series showcase the breadth of stories available on the platform. Launching July 10, Pierrot-Man follows a manga artist whose life unravels right at the peak of his career.
Coming July 17, The Isekai Reincarnation Sketchbook of Hundred Burger-chan offers a comedic twist on the isekai genre that is equally realistic and fantastical in its own ways. Also releasing July 17, Barefaced: The Man Who Left Public Security centers on an investigator who abandons a legendary police career to open a detective agency, setting the stage for high-octane encounters.
Beyond the Heavens, emaqi’s first exclusive manga from renowned publisher Kodansha Ltd., will close out the month with a July 31 launch. The award-winning action series is known as Souten Kouro in Japan, and its first official English release comes 32 years after its debut in Japan. The series is based on one of Chinese history’s most infamous heroes, the ambitious warlord Cao Cao, and follows him in a historical adventure set during the Three Kingdoms period.
