Fatal Fury’s Mai and Terry have been holding their own in Street Fighter VI’s Metro City. Now that both characters are out alongside the rest of the new World Warriors cast, it’s always fun to look back at their roots, or at least Capcom’s take on them. Capcom recently released a comparison trailer for Capcom Fighting Collection 2, showcasing Mai and Terry’s third appearance in a Capcom fighting game.
These two SNK legends joined the iconic Capcom vs. SNK crossover series, reimagined in Capcom’s signature 2D sprite style. Using their King of Fighters appearances as a base, they were ready to trade blows—and paper fans—with longtime arcade rivals Ryu and Chun-Li.
Enjoying Mai or Terry in Street Fighter 6? You can have them team up together or with other Capcom and SNK fighters in Capcom Fighting Collection 2 with Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001!
The trailer highlights Mai and Terry’s Capcom vs. SNK 2 appearances alongside their current Street Fighter VI movesets. The iconic song playing in the background is from the game’s London stage. Thanks to the re-release of both Capcom vs. SNK Pro (2000) and Capcom vs. SNK 2 in this collection, fans can finally revisit this epic crossover showdown for the first time in over 20 years—perfect for when you need a break from Street Fighter VI or Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be dropping on May 16th for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC(Steam).
