Ascendance of a Bookworm will begin airing its fourth TV anime season, Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke in April 2026. The new season will feature even more delicate and beautiful visuals by a completely new staff from WIT STUDIO, the studio behind massive hits such as Attack on Titan and SPYxFAMILY.
Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke Blu-ray Box I, containing the first 12 episodes of the new season, will go on sale July 1, 2026. The deluxe box set will feature original art by You Shiina, the illustrator for the original novel series. It will also include a booklet with series settings and interviews, a drama CD with six episodes (over 60 minutes), and a soundtrack recording of the original score and theme songs performed by the cast.
In addition, the DVD series will be released monthly in three-episode volumes starting April 29, with a total of four volumes.
