Woot has the 8BitDo Arcade Stick for Xbox on sale for $75

8Bitdo Arcade Stick for Xbox Series XS and PC

It looks like the Woot has yet another fantastic piece of gaming gear on sale, and if you’re a fighting game fan who plays on the Xbox Series X|S, you may want to jump at this. 8BitDo Arcade Stick, which made it on our Holiday Gifts for Fighting Game Fans list, is on sale for just $75. That’s a massive discount from the original MSRP, and that’s a steal in my mind.

And I hear you already, you don’t play fighting games, and that’s ok as you can still get it as a present for someone else. Or, you can get it for yourself and use it for other things, like playing arcade games. I love mine and don’t always use it for fighting games. Plus, you can also use it for the PC. I’m sure you can fit a use for it. You could always get another one if you already have one for when player two comes over.

The 8BitDo Arcade Stick has a nice weight to it, so it won’t move all over the place when trying to land your combos; the joystick has a satisfying sound when moving it around, as do the buttons. Speaking of the buttons, they have a nice travel distance and nice spacing. Of course, both the joystick and buttons can also be swapped out. Lastly, you can use the 8Bitdo Arcade Stick either with a USB cable or the included 2.4 GHz dongle, making it nearly lag-less. If you enjoy playing fighting games on the Xbox Series X|S (like me) and enjoy playing fighting games or just using an Arcade Stick, this is a good replacement.

It’s also an official Xbox controller, and while I can still use my Brooks Wingman on my Xbox Series X, there’s no telling when Xbox will stop unofficial adapters and controllers from being used on its consoles. Which makes this another reason to get it while you can.

Of course, since it’s on Woot, it won’t last long, so if you are thinking about it, I’d get it sooner rather than later. Things on Woot don’t tend to stay on sale or available for long.
