Rebel Wolves has revealed the final PC system requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker, and surprisingly, they aren’t all that bad. Sure, you’re still going to need some decent hardware if you want to crank everything up, but compared to what was previously listed, these requirements are a lot more reasonable. Which means more people aren’t going to have to break the bank, trying to upgrade their gaming pcs in this hellish market we’re stuck in right now.
There is one important thing to keep in mind. These final requirements are based on using DLSS, FSR, or XeSS, which helps explain why some of the GPU targets have dropped.
The Blood of Dawnwalker Final PC Requirements
1080p / 30 FPS – Low
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11400F / AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580
- RAM: 16 GB
- VRAM: 6 GB or more
- Storage: 60 GB SSD
1080p / 60 FPS – Medium
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: RTX 2060 SUPER / GTX 1070 Ti / RX 5700 / Intel Arc A750
- RAM: 16 GB
- VRAM: 8 GB or more
1440p / 60 FPS – High
- CPU: Intel Core i7-11700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- GPU: RTX 4060 / RX 7600 XT / Intel Arc B580
- RAM: 16 GB
- VRAM: 8 GB or more
4K / 60 FPS – Ultra
- CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- GPU: RTX 4070 Ti / RX 9070
- RAM: 16 GB
- VRAM: 12 GB or more
What really caught my attention is the 4K requirement. Previously, an RTX 5090 was listed for native 4K at 60 FPS on Ultra, but the final requirements now call for an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 9070. That’s a pretty big drop. Of course, there’s a catch, as Rebel Wolves is now recommending DLSS, FSR, or XeSS, but it’s still nice to see that you won’t need one of the most expensive GPUs on the market just to play at 4K.
The 1440p target also looks pretty reasonable, with an RTX 4060, RX 7600 XT, or Arc B580 listed for High settings at 60 FPS. Even at the lower end, a GTX 1060 or RX 580 will apparently get you into the game at 1080p and 30 FPS. It’s a win/win for everyone. Still, I had already remarked on how well optimized the game was during my hands-on, and I had expected it to get better.
Of course, this is with throwing in upscaling to make up for the hardware horsepower requirement. Something that has been annoying the PC gaming community, which has even resulted in calling developers lazy. Still, when hardware is getting or is out the price range of most people, upscaling coming to the rescue is something that should be appreciated, since you can easily disable it and go native.
We’ve already had the chance to play The Blood of Dawnwalker ourselves, and you can check out our full hands-on preview for our impressions of the combat, world, and its time-based mechanics.
The Blood of Dawnwalker releases on September 3, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
