WEBTOON Entertainment, a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world’s largest storytelling platforms, is launching a limited slate of Short Dramas, a new way for fans to fall in love with hit romance on the platform. From slow burns and forbidden lovers to fake dating and star-crossed couples, Short Dramas bring the romance stories fans obsess over to life in bite-sized episodes and in the first live-action content on the platform.
Six WEBTOON Originals are available starting today, Monday, August 17, as live-action Short Dramas, each featuring 40 to 50 episodes running around one-to two-minutes each. A limited number of episodes in each series are available for free, with additional episodes unlocked with Coins to continue viewing. At launch, the Short Dramas are available on the company’s English and French-language platforms.

Rules for Dating Trash: After a toxic ex shatters her trust, a college student returns to campus determined to swear off dating – until an irresistible bad boy challenges every rule she’s made for herself. Based on the romance webcomic, Rules for Dating Trash, which has reached over 140 million global views.
Dirty Deeds: A young maid’s quiet life at a mystical retreat for the wealthy is upended when the brash heir to a powerful conglomerate arrives, forcing her to confront a traumatic past and sparking an improbable romance that threatens to destroy them both.
