2XKO Reveals Caitlyn Gameplay – Abilities, Combos, and First Look

By Kevin KellyJanuary 15, 2026
Riot Games has revealed that Caitlyn will be making her way into its fighting game, 2KXO. Armed with a rifle, traps, and tea, Caitlyn’s ready to take on the criminals with her reach. Zoning is what she does best with her kit.
Check out Catilyn in action in the trailer.

Her Enforcer Hexshield super does feel as though Street Fighter’s Urien might have some competition for best Aegis Reflector. The shield itself has about 4 hits for the opponent to take before it disappears. Her bridge kick sends her opponent to the other side. And while Caitlyn can still shoot through it with specials to damage opponents, her super Rifle shot will destroy it.

Her Rifle shot can be charged to do knockdown damage, which can be helpful on ending a combo, as it can track opponents before being released. The Reload Shot adds another hit. The Closing Shot allows Caitlyn to follow up her Rifle Shot with a closer-range hit. The options her Advance Roll has are interesting. Her Bola shot move is a snare that can suspend the enemy for a short period, similar to traps. Caitlyn’s roll is a great defensive maneuver.

Caitlyn will be available after the full launch of 2XKO on January 20th for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
