Warriors Abyss Shadow Dropped At Playstation State Of Play

By Scott AdamsFebruary 12, 2025
The key art of Warriors Abyss. It shows Zhao Yun in the midst of demon hoards.

The warriors musou fans are getting a lot of games to play this year. Earlier this year we were able to play Dynasty Warriors: Origins a reboot of the original series that started it all. Now we just got a new Roguelike Warriors Musou title with Warriors Abyss.

This looks insane. Inspired by Hades and Vampire Survivors Koei Tecmo brought their addictive musou gameplay into the roguelite genre. This time with selecting a huge amount of the warriors roster that includes characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors. It looks like you are able to build a team of six characters into different formations that react to the large hordes you will be forced to fight.

In WARRIORS: Abyss the souls of heroes have found themselves summoned to the underworld. Here, the ruler of the underworld, a boy who calls himself “Enma” informs players that the ancient evil entity “Gouma” has been released and has taken over this hellish land. At the request of “Enma,” the heroes dive into the abyss teeming with the undead! -Press Release

The insane thing with this trailer though is the fact that Warriors Abyss is available to buy and play right now! Warriors Abyss is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
